Cavs' Smith passes Kobe on NBA's all-time 3-pointers list

With his second 3-pointer Saturday night against the visiting Philadelphia 76ers, Cleveland Cavaliers sharpshooter J.R. Smith moved past Los Angeles Lakers legend Kobe Bryant for 12th on the NBA's all-time 3-pointers made list.

Kobe attempted 5,546 shots from behind the arc during his 20 seasons in the Association, while Smith had taken 4,896 shots from 3-point range entering Saturday's matchup with Philadelphia.
Smith finished with seven points and three assists in 23 minutes of action to help Cleveland prevail 105-98 at Quicken Loans Arena. It marked the 16th time in 27 games that he's connected on two or more 3-pointers.
