There may be a change of plans.
San Antonio Spurs forward Kawhi Leonard is now targeting next Tuesday's game against the Dallas Mavericks for his season debut following a quad injury, sources told ESPN's Adrian Wojnarowski and Michael C. Wright.
It was reported Thursday he was aiming for Saturday against the Phoenix Suns.
The Spurs, who have racked up the third-best record in the Western Conference without Leonard, are being cautious with his rehab, and it's expected he'll be on a minutes restriction once he's back.
