Good news: Anthony Davis avoided suffering his third concussion.

The New Orleans Pelicans announced Sunday that Davis has cleared the NBA's concussion protocol, and has been diagnosed with a contusion of the orbit bone above his right eye. He's listed as probable for Monday's contest against the Oklahoma City Thunder.

The All-NBA big man was hit directly in his right orbit Friday when he was headbutted by Denver Nuggets center Nikola Jokic.

Davis, 24, was initially diagnosed with a concussion, and did not return to the game. He's suffered two previous concussions over the course of his career.

The four-time All-Star is averaging 25.1 points, 11 rebounds, 2.9 assists, two blocks, and 1.5 steals for the 8-8 Pels.
