It's not a concussion, but it's enough to keep Kyrie Irving out of the lineup for at least one game.

After taking an elbow to the head Friday during the Boston Celtics' 90-87 win over the visiting Charlotte Hornets, the All-Star guard has been officially diagnosed with a minor facial fracture.

The Celtics have listed Irving as doubtful for Sunday's matchup with the Toronto Raptors at TD Garden.

Moving forward, Irving will play through the injury with a fitted mask for at least two weeks, sources told The Vertical's Shams Charania.

Aron Baynes had attempted to reject a floater from guard Kemba Walker with his left hand only a minute into the action, with his right elbow swinging back and connecting with Irving.

Boston is in the midst of an 11-game winning streak after beginning the 2017-18 campaign with two losses, as well as a season-ending injury to free-agent acquisition Gordon Hayward.

Irving has led the charge during this prosperous stretch, averaging 20.3 points on 44.4 percent shooting, 5.2 assists, 3.1 rebounds, and 1.9 steals.

It remains to be seen who would start in his stead, with head coach Brad Stevens having the likes of Marcus Smart, Shane Larkin, and Terry Rozier at his disposal.
