Thunder hold team meeting after loss to Nuggets

The Oklahoma City Thunder dropped their fourth straight game Thursday and felt the need to talk it out after.

"You have to talk about it. You have to look at it," Carmelo Anthony told the Norman Transcript's Fred Katz after the meeting. "You have to be up front with everybody. Everybody's got to be held accountable for what’s going on."

The Thunder don't look like a superteam right now. The four-game losing streak began by blowing an 18-point lead to the Boston Celtics last Friday, followed up by three losses to teams they should have beaten on paper. OKC appears to be falling into the bad habit of isolation ball, with Russell Westbrook and Anthony taking turns in the fourth quarter of Thursday's loss to the Denver Nuggets.

Paul George took only one shot in the final period.

Anthony hit a season-high six treys Thursday, but in the preseason the Thunder appeared to use him in a more effective catch-and-shoot role.

So-called superteams tend to take time to work things out, but 4-7 isn't where many expected the Thunder to be. Yet, Westbrook knows he's still allowed to say it's early.

"This is not when we want to be playing our best basketball," Westbrook said earlier in the week.
