Draymond declines to respond to Cuban's 'owner' criticism, demand for apology
Draymond Green says whatever he wants, and he's not saying "sorry."
The Golden State Warriors forward received backlash from Mark Cuban for indicating the word "owner" shouldn't be used for a team's proprietor because being "owned by someone just sets a bad precedent to start."
Cuban, who's the majority owner of the Dallas Mavericks, said Green's wrong and owes the NBA an apology, adding: "We own equity, we don't own people."
Ahead of Saturday's matchup with the Nuggets in Denver, the DPOY was asked if he has any response to Cuban's comments.
"Yeah," he replied, according to Mercury News' Anthony Slater. "The altitude here is tough. Tough place to play. Looking forward to playing against Gary (Harris) and his new contract, (Nikola) Jokic. Looking forward to tonight. Anything else about the Nuggets?"
Sorry, not sorry.
