Toronto Raptors point guard Delon Wright suffered a right shoulder injury in Wednesday's game against the New Orleans Pelicans.

Wright got tangled up with DeMarcus Cousins while battling for a rebound. He immediately came up hobbling and headed straight for the locker room while clutching his shoulder.

He will be re-evaluated once the team returns to Toronto after the Pelicans game.

Wright has been excellent off the bench for Toronto in his first season as the clear-cut backup. The 25-year-old is averaging 8.2 points, 2.5 rebounds, and 2.5 assists while hitting 52.3 percent from the field to go along with versatile defense on the perimeter.
