Orlando Magic starting point guard Elfrid Payton could miss the next handful of games with what coach Frank Vogel described Saturday as a "mild to moderate" hamstring strain, according to OrlandoMagic.com's John Denton.

Payton left Friday night's match against the Brooklyn Nets after just 14 minutes of play, finishing with four points and four assists.

Veteran ball-handler D.J. Augustin will start in Payton's place against the Cleveland Cavaliers on Saturday, and likely until Payton's return.

Payton had missed just nine regular-season games since being selected No. 10 in the 2014 draft, appearing in all 82 games in both his first and third professional seasons.
