Singer Justine Skye took a knee toward the end of her rendition of "The Star-Spangled Banner" prior to Friday's Orlando Magic-Brooklyn Nets game in New York - the first such demonstration in the NBA this season.

Last year, a singer at a 76ers-Heat game in Miami did the same in solidarity with NFL players protesting police brutality. Skye, an R&B singer signed to Jay-Z's Roc Nation label, took to Instagram afterward to explain her actions - saying she probably won't be invited back to sing the national anthem.
