Add DeAndre' Bembry to the laundry list of casualties from the first week of the NBA season.

The Atlanta Hawks second-year swingman suffered a fractured right wrist during Atlanta's season-opening win over the Dallas Mavericks on Wednesday, the team announced. He's slated to meet with team doctors on Monday, and the Hawks won't have an update on his status until then.

Bembry was in and out of the Hawks' rotation during his rookie season, averaging 2.7 points and 1.6 rebounds in 9.8 minutes, across 38 games. But with the team committing to a rebuild, he figured to have a much larger role in his sophomore campaign.

He played 18 minutes off the bench in the opener, chipping in six points, six rebounds, an assist, two steals, and a block. The Hawks outscored the Mavs by 13 points while he was on the floor.
