Klay Thompson is making a sizable donation to help those affected by the wildfires in Northern California.

The Golden State Warriors shooting guard announced Friday that he will donate $1,000 for every point he scores in the team's next three home games to the Redwood Credit Union Community's wildfire relief fund. He encouraged fans to donate as well.

The Warriors host the Toronto Raptors on Oct. 25, followed by the Washington Wizards on Oct. 27, and Detroit Pistons on Oct. 28.
