The differences between New York and Oklahoma City are about as striking as urban differences get, but don't expect Carmelo Anthony to be yearning for the bright lights of Gotham as a member of the Thunder.

"That chapter's closed. No more Knicks talk," Anthony said after OKC's 105-84 season-opening win over his old New York squad Thursday, per the Daily News' Frank Isola. "We can just focus on the Thunder and moving forward and what we have to do as a team and organization. I can say that chapter's closed."

Hours before the contest, Anthony tweeted out a not-so-subtle note about the "hell" he'd been through.

His regular-season debut in a Thunder uniform was a mixed bag. He missed seven straight shots including a dunk, but settled down later to finish with 22 points.

Anthony has always excelled in a limited capacity on the catch-and-shoot, and now it's a logical role he can assume as the No. 3 option behind Russell Westbrook and Paul George.

Still, Anthony shot a poor 3-of-10 from deep, and the Thunder as a whole hit on just 43 percent from the floor, which he chalked it up to rust.

"Offensively it's on us to make those shots," he said, according to ESPN's Royce Young. "We're not used to having open looks like that, being wide open for shots like that. We've got to get comfortable with that and those shots. Those shots will fall."
