Report: Several Cavs unhappy with planned tribute video for Irving

The Cleveland Cavaliers never found an opportune time to show a tribute video for Kyrie Irving and that's probably for the best.

Several members of the Cavaliers were unhappy with the news that the organization had planned to honor Irving, who requested a trade this summer, according to Joe Vardon of Cleveland.com.

Vardon did not disclose any specific names of those who were upset.

Irving left on a sour note, as evidenced by loud boos upon his introduction as a member of the Boston Celtics on Tuesday, but ignoring him would have been ungrateful given all that the former No. 1 pick did for Cleveland.

Not only was he a four-time All-Star across his six seasons with the Cavaliers, but Irving also made the most important shot in franchise history to snap the city's infamous title drought.
