The NBA will tighten the criteria for its Last Two Minute Reports this season to games within three points in the final two minutes of regulation or overtime from the previous five points.

In addition, all calls and material non-calls will be grouped by possession in the reports. In the past, all officiated events were listed in a play-by-play format.

This is the third full season the NBA will publish the Last Two Minute Reports, ostensibly designed to increase the accountability of officials. Many players and coaches aren't fans of the reports, with some saying it puts referees in an untenable spot.
