Ahead of the Los Angeles Lakers' preseason opener against the Minnesota Timberwolves on Saturday night, Shahan Ahmed of NBC L.A. tweeted that Ball was listening to himself rap to get hyped up:
Part of Lonzo Ball’s pregame hype up in the locker room: listening to himself rapping. Pretty sure it was the Melo Ball commercial song.

The song Ahmed's referring to is "Melo Ball 1," which was released in September. It's a nod to the Lakers rookie's younger brother, LaMelo Ball, and his first signature sneaker.
