No one was more excited to find out Derek Fisher would be competing on the 25th season of "Dancing with the Stars" than his mother.
During Monday's premiere, ABC aired a clip of the moment the former NBA star shared the news with his parents over a video chat. Fisher predicted his mom would "lose it" when he told her, and she absolutely did.
Fisher and partner Sharna Burgess performed the Salsa to "Basketball" by Kurtis Blow for this first dance, scoring 18 out of 30 points.
