Stephen Jackson lost respect for Kevin Durant as a result of his Twitter mishap.

The Golden State Warriors superstar came under fire after it was discovered he uses secret social media accounts to defend himself against detractors. Durant has since apologized - using his verified Twitter account - for criticizing his former team, the Oklahoma City Thunder, in third person.

Jackson expressed little sympathy for the reigning Finals MVP.

"Kevin Durant, I look at you now as I look at everybody else on Twitter and Instagram that has a little egg avatar," the 2003 champion said on ESPN's "The Jump."

"You are that person now. You cannot be excluded from that. Who creates a fake page? ...

"He's an egg avatar now. I have no respect for him after that. Don't do that."

Jackson actually praised Durant for clapping back at fans because "some people need to be clapped back at," but said it has to come (intentionally) from his verified account.
