Charles Oakley filed a civil suit Tuesday in response to last season's infamous scuffle at Madison Square Garden, per Daniel Werly from thewhitebronco.com.

The news came after Oakley's attorney, Alex Spiro, hinted last month that his client would be pursuing "all civil remedies against Mr. (James) Dolan."

The former NBA big man was forcibly removed from MSG while sitting courtside at a New York Knicks game in February. He was subsequently arrested and charged with two misdemeanor counts of assault, two misdemeanor counts of harassment, and one count of criminal trespassing.

Oakley was also handed an indefinite ban from MSG by Knicks owner James Dolan, which was rescinded shortly after.

Oakley was conditionally cleared of all charges after accepting a plea deal last month. The 53-year-old received a one-year ban from MSG as part of the agreement, which Oakley joked he'd have no trouble fulfilling.
