Lonzo Ball isn't sweating any possible bad juju.

After the Los Angeles Lakers point guard suggested no one from his generation listens to Nas' music, rapper Lil B threatened to place his infamous "BasedGod Curse" on him.

Though his younger brother, LaMelo, tried to save him from Lil B's hex, Lonzo isn't worried.

"I don't believe in that," the former UCLA star told Spectrum SportsNet's Mike Bresnahan. "Nah. Not at all."

Instead, Lonzo said he's focused on leading the Lakers back to the playoffs following four down years. Asked about individual goals, the No. 2 overall pick said he measures his personal success in team wins.

Lonzo's yet to suit up in the NBA, but he did win Summer League MVP after averaging 16.3 points on 38.2 percent shooting, 9.3 assists, 7.7 rebounds, 2.5 steals, and a block in 32.5 minutes in six contests.

Will he deliver on his postseason hopes - and his father's prophecy - or will the "BasedGod Curse" prove too powerful? Only time will tell.
