A summer of change atop the Los Angeles Clippers organization continues, with at least one more big announcement likely to come in the near future.

The team is reportedly close to finalizing a deal to make Oklahoma City Thunder executive Michael Winger the Clippers' new general manager, according to ESPN's Adrian Wojnarowski.

The move follows a broad restructuring among the Clippers' leadership earlier this month, with the team announcing on Aug. 4 that front office and coaching duties would be split up going forward. Veteran NBA executive Lawrence Frank was promoted to president of basketball operations with Doc Rivers retaining his role as head coach. Rivers had held both coaching and team president duties from 2014 until earlier this month.

Once a deal with Winger is finalized, the 37-year-old will report to Frank.

Winger has worked within the Thunder front office since 2010, having spent five years with the Cleveland Cavaliers prior to that.
