With LeBron James reportedly unwilling to verbally commit to the Cleveland Cavaliers beyond the upcoming season, some have suggested the organization look at moving the King to avoid losing him for a second time without any real compensation.

Kevin Durant of the Golden State Warriors views things differently, though,

Responding to a tweet rapper Lil Dicky made Wednesday afternoon, the reigning NBA Finals Most Valuable Player suggested the Cavaliers would be out of their minds to deal their star forward, and that James should be the one controlling his own destiny.

Of course, James has a no-trade clause built into his contract, which he reportedly won't consider waiving anyway.

Continuing their back-and-forth on the social media platform, Lil Dicky alluded to Cavs owner Dan Gilbert perhaps costing the team another title victory due to his rocky relationship with James. To quell his fears, Durant brought up how Cleveland landed the No. 1 overall pick three of the four years (Kyrie Irving, Anthony Bennett, and Andrew Wiggins) James was competing in South Beach.
