Westbrook named MVP by peers in Players Voice Awards

Russell Westbrook of the Oklahoma City Thunder picked up some more hardware Friday, this time from his peers. Westbrook was named Most Valuable Player in the NBPA Players Voice Awards, voted strictly by NBA players.
The awards were announced via Twitter on Friday, with Westbrook also picking up the "Hardest to Guard" honor, as well as Best Dressed player, naturally.

The honor from his contemporaries adds to his Maurice Podoloff Trophy as NBA MVP, announced in June. Westbrook became the first player since Oscar Robertson in 1961-62 to average a triple-double over the course of a full season.
