The New Orleans Pelicans have reached an agreement with free-agent guard Ian Clark, sources told Shams Charania of The Vertical.

He will reportedly earn $1.6 million on a one-year pact.

Clark spent his last two seasons as the third-string point guard for the Golden State Warriors. He cracked the rotation for good last year and averaged 6.8 points per game on 48.7 percent shooting from the field and 37.4 percent from deep.

He was a reliable shooter on open looks and was particularly adept at cutting backdoor on high-low feeds from Warriors center David West.

Minutes, however, look hard to come by on the Pelicans. Jrue Holiday and Rajon Rondo form the team's starting backcourt, while E'Twaun Moore should also challenge Clark for minutes off the bench.
