The New York Knicks have apparently found themselves a new backup point guard.
New York is finalizing a one-year, $2.3-million minimum deal with unrestricted free agent Ramon Sessions, league sources tell The Vertical's Shams Charania.
The 31-year-old averaged 6.2 points, 2.6 assists, 1.5 rebounds, and 0.5 steals in 50 games with the Charlotte Hornets before his season was cut short due to a torn meniscus.
Sessions will compete with fellow guards Ron Baker and Frank Ntilikina for time in the Knicks' backcourt.
