Stephen Curry gave a disabled Navy veteran the surprise of a lifetime on Wednesday's episode of "The View."
Timothy Birckhead has hereditary neuropathy with liability to pressure palsy, an incurable disease that affects his sensory and motor nerves, according to Allie Yang of ABC News. Homes For Our Troops offered to build him a new wheelchair-accessible house and "The View" flew out for the big reveal.
Little did Birckhead know, Curry was also on hand, hiding in one of the bathrooms.
"I heard a lot about your family and about your story, and just to be able to celebrate in your new home with your family, is what it's all about," the Golden State Warriors star told Birckhead.
"Thank you for being a great inspiration to me."
