The Daytona Tortugas, a minor-league affiliate of the Cincinnati Reds, honored late NBA sideline reporter Craig Sager on Friday night and invited Vince Carter to throw out the first pitch.
The Tortugas donned colorful jerseys inspired by the suit Sager, who died from leukemia in December, wore to accept the Jimmy V Perseverance Award at the 2016 ESPYS. The jerseys were auctioned off after the game in support of the SagerStrong Foundation.
