He hasn't stepped on an NBA court in a couple of months, but DeMar DeRozan's competitive fire still got the best of him this past weekend.
Frustrated with the officiating in a (Pro-Am) Drew League loss, the Raptors' All-Star could be seen launching the game ball at a referee (and almost hitting an innocent bystander) out of an inbounds play at the conclusion of the contest, before needing to be restrained by M.H.P. teammate Nick Young.
Earlier, during the game's closing minutes, DeRozan (who dropped 41 in the loss) received a technical for launching the ball at a wall in protest of what he thought should've been an and-1 call in his favor.
