Raptors land jersey sponsorship with Sun Life Financial
The Toronto Raptors have found their first ever jersey sponsor, and no, it has nothing to do with Drake.
The club announced Thursday it has partnered with Sun Life Financial, agreeing on a three-year contract that will see the Canadian insurance company's logo placed on the front left shoulder of team's uniform.
TSN's Rick Westhead, who first reported the deal, said it's worth more than $5 million (CAD). It will be used to help raise awareness for type 2 diabetes and promote a healthy lifestyle.

Toronto is the ninth NBA team to secure a jersey sponsorship, with the clubs expected to begin sporting the new-look unis in 2017-18.
