Tom Thibodeau may be trying to get the old band back together.

After acquiring Jimmy Butler from the Chicago Bulls last month, the Minnesota Timberwolves have agreed to a two-year, $28-million deal with unrestricted free agent (and former Bull) Taj Gibson, league sources tell The Vertical's Shams Charania.

Gibson spent time with both the Bulls and Oklahoma City Thunder this past season, averaging 10.8 points, 6.2 rebounds, and 0.9 assists on 51.5 percent shooting in 78 contests.

Minnesota has been active early in free agency, reportedly agreeing to a three-year deal with point guard Jeff Teague.
