Let it be stricken from the records that Lou Williams was ever a member of the Houston Rockets.

Too bad it doesn't work like that, although the sharpshooting guard hopes Houston fans will just forget him being there and move on with their lives.

With the news that he's headed to the Los Angeles Clippers as part of a blockbuster trade involving Chris Paul, Williams took to social media to thank the city for the love it showed him during his three-month stint, all the while asking everyone to erase that period from their collective memories.

Williams - who recently finished third in balloting for Sixth Man of the Year - was acquired by Houston ahead of February's trade deadline from the Los Angeles Lakers.

He wasn't in the Lone Star State very long, yet it sounded like he really enjoyed his time in Houston and was unhappy with all of the trade rumors, making his latest tweet all the more puzzling.

Williams struggled shooting the rock while coming off the bench in more minutes than he saw in Los Angeles, with his scoring numbers dipping in 11 postseason games, which may have been the reason for his remarks.
