Pop star Taylor Swift isn't known for her devout interest in sports, but the 27-year-old managed to find her way onto the Russell Westbrook MVP bandwagon, regardless.

In the video, Swift congratulates Westbrook, jokingly claiming she taught him how to play basketball. Swift then transitioned into a plug of her own for her song "Shake It Off."

Overall, Swift's congratulatory praise is harmless and good-natured, but still came across as awkward.
