Isaiah Thomas inexplicably earns All-Defense vote

If there's one thing holding Isaiah Thomas back from being one of the top players in the NBA, it's the 5-foot-9 guard's inability to stop his opponent on a nightly basis.

However, it appears that not every NBA viewer is aware of Thomas' defensive struggles, as the 28-year-old managed to land a vote on one of the All-Defensive teams for the 2016-17 season.

One could argue that no player was worse on the defensive end than Thomas, as he finished dead last in defensive points saved, dead last in defensive box plus-minus among players who played at least 2,000 minutes, and dead last among point guards in ESPN's defensive real plus-minus.

Votes for the All-Defensive teams will be made public Tuesday, according to Bleacher Report's Howard Beck.
