Watch: Durant questions how Sixers' new core already has nickname

In Kevin Durant's humble opinion, a four-man core in the NBA can't receive a nickname without at least playing a game or two together first.

At a charity baseball event at Oakland Coliseum on Saturday, the Finals MVP was overheard questioning how Markelle Fultz, Joel Embiid, Dario Saric, and Ben Simmons of the Philadelphia 76ers could christen themselves, "The FEDS" before ever taking the floor as a unit.

"How they got a nickname and ain't played no games together?" Durant asked teammate Andre Iguodala.

The "FEDS" moniker is comprised of the first letter from either the first or last name (Fultz, Embiid, Dario, and Simmons) of each player.
