Josh Jackson warns teams that passed on him: 'They'll be sorry'

Despite being drafted fourth overall and only one spot below where many projected him to go, Josh Jackson didn't seem satisfied Thursday evening.

"I've been drafted to Phoenix, and I'm going to go there and I'm going to make the best of it. I'm going to be the best player I can be. And those teams who didn't draft me, one day they will be sorry," exclaimed the motivated Kansas product, according to CBS' Matt Norlander.

Going into the draft, many pegged Jackson to be drafted third overall by the Boston Celtics. With Markelle Fultz and Lonzo Ball going first and second, as predicted, the Celtics were more than likely debating between either Jackson or Duke forward Jayson Tatum.

Obviously, Boston's selection of Tatum didn't sit well with Jackson.

"I don't think the other guys in this draft really care as much as I do. I don't think they play as hard as I do, period. I think that's what really makes me special," Jackson said.

Jackson's underlying frustration could be born out of the fact that he'll join a Suns team that finished with the league's second-worst record last season, rather than a Celtics team that won the Eastern Conference.
