Lonzo gives theoretical Lakers pitch to LeBron
There's been some uncertainty and a few hiccoughs in the lead-up to the draft, but less than 24 hours before he officially becomes an NBA player, it still looks like Lonzo Ball is set to become a Los Angeles Laker.
With rumors abounding about the possibility of LeBron James decamping for Hollywood from Northeast Ohio come 2018, Ball was asked Wednesday how he'd convince James to join his potential future team.
"Hey man, LeBron, I like to win and I know you like to win," Ball told ESPN's Jemele Hill and Michael Smith. "I think our games could help each other out a lot. Anytime you want the ball, just let me know and it's going to be there."
Pretty convincing pitch, but realistically, the ball is always going to end up where James decides it should.
