After starting him at shooting guard the past six seasons, the San Antonio Spurs may be ready to move on from Danny Green.

Though no deal is close to materializing just yet, the Spurs are open to trading Green, sources told Jabari Young of the San Antonio Express-News.

After a career year in 2014-15, the 29-year-old 3-and-D wing has seen his offensive production tail off the past two seasons, shooting below 40 percent from the field in each (though his 3-point percentage ticked back up to 37.9 this past season, from a career-low 33.2 in 2015-16).

Green is signed through next season for $10 million, with a $10-million player option for 2018-19. Since being scooped off waivers by the Spurs in 2010 (after being cast off by the Cleveland Cavaliers), he has averaged 9.1 points, 3.5 rebounds, 1.7 assists, one steal, and 0.8 blocks, while shooting 40.1 percent from 3-point range and producing 19 defensive win shares.
