The Blake Show is staying in Los Angeles for the foreseeable future.

On the eve of free agency, Blake Griffin has reportedly agreed to terms on a five-year, $173-million contract to remain with the Los Angeles Clippers, according to The Vertical's Shams Charania. The contract does not include a no-trade clause, sources told ESPN's Ramona Shelburne.

Griffin has averaged 21.5 points, 9.4 rebounds, and 4.1 assists per game since being selected first overall in the 2009 draft. This reported mega-extension will keep the five-time All-Star under team control through the end of his age-32 season.

After perennial All-NBA-caliber point guard Chris Paul was traded to the Houston Rockets earlier this week, pundits were unsure of whether the franchise-altering move signified a full tear-down of a team that's made six straight postseason appearances. With Griffin back in the fold, though, the Clippers appear willing to reconfigure around him and All-NBA center DeAndre Jordan.
