Raptors select OG Anunoby with No. 23 pick

With the 23rd pick in Thursday's NBA draft, the Toronto Raptors selected Indiana forward OG Anunoby.

Coming in just under 6-foot-8 with shoes on and with a wingspan that exceeds 7-foot-2, Anunoby has the physical tools to match his defensive intensity, and that's the 19-year-old's NBA meal ticket.

Anunoby, who averaged better than 11 points, five rebounds, an assist, a block, and a steal as an Indiana sophomore, has the potential to be an impact defender at any frontcourt position, and possesses the mobility to stay with guards on the perimeter.

The concerns about Anunoby are on the offensive end. While he's shown flashes of floor-spacing potential, his overall skill set remains raw as he enters the professional landscape. In addition, teams haven't seen Anunoby on the court since he suffered a season-ending ACL injury in January that required surgery.
