What far-away universe had the New York Knicks playing in the Eastern Conference finals? The one in 1993, when Bill Clinton was President.

In Game 2 of the playoff showdown between the Knicks and Michael Jordan's Chicago Bulls, John Starks threw down one of the NBA's all-time great dunks, 24 years ago Thursday:

That game would be the last contest the Knicks won in the series. The Bulls took four straight to go to the NBA Finals. The following season, with Jordan retired, New York reached the Finals and lost to the Houston Rockets.
