A pair of Houston Rockets guards, as well as a former Finals MVP, are in the running to take home NBA Sixth Man of the Year honors this season.

Eric Gordon, Lou Williams, and Golden State Warriors veteran Andre Iguodala were revealed as the official nominees Friday night.

Gordon averaged 16.2 points and 2.5 assists in his first season with the Rockets, shooting 37.2 percent from 3-point range.

Williams was acquired by Houston ahead of the trade deadline in a deal with the Los Angeles Lakers. He ranked first among second-unit players in the Association in scoring (17.6) over 80 appearances.

Iguodala's offensive numbers aren't nearly as mesmerizing (7.6 points, four rebounds, and 3.4 assists on 52.8 percent shooting), yet he was an integral part of the Warriors' 67-win campaign, especially on the defensive end (led all qualified bench players in defensive win shares).

The winner will be announced during the first-ever NBA Awards on TNT, airing Monday, June 26 live from Basketball City at Pier 36 in New York City.
