Knicks fan loses bet, goes to work in custom Bargnani jersey
It's not easy being a New York Knicks fan these days.
One man who bought into the "superteam" hype entering the 2016-17 campaign bet his colleague, a Toronto Raptors supporter, that the Knicks would win at least 40 games.
As part of the friendly wager, if New York reached the 40-win mark, the Raptors fan would have to purchase a custom Derrick Rose Knicks uniform (including shorts) and wear it to work for a week. If the club failed to hit the target, the Knickerbockers fan would have to do the same but with an Andrea Bargnani Raptors set.
Jeff Hornacek's men fell well short of the mark, compiling just 31 wins. That saw them miss the playoffs for the fourth straight year while letting down Knicks faithful ... including this guy:
