Dante Cunningham of the New Orleans Pelicans will opt out of the final year of his contract and test free agency, sources told ESPN's Chris Haynes.
Cunningham was paid $2.9 million this season, his third in New Orleans. He's expected to look for a raise on the $3.1 million currently due to him in 2017-18, and has until June 21 to opt out.
He averaged 6.6 points on a career-high 39.2 percent 3-point shooting this season.
