Wizards' Wall finishes regular season with historic stat line
During an NBA season filled with a seemingly limitless amount of compelling storylines, it's been easy for the incredible production of Washington Wizards All-Star John Wall to fall under the radar.
Wall, along with teammates Bradley Beal and Markieff Morris, will be rested for Washington's season finale Wednesday night at American Airlines Arena against the Miami Heat.
This means the 26-year-old point guard's 2016-17 statistics will go untouched, leaving him with a final line we've never seen before.
In 78 total appearances, Wall has become the first player in league history to average over 20 points (23.1), 10 assists (10.7), four rebounds (4.2), two steals (2.1), and 0.5 blocks (0.6), according to Basketball-Reference.com.
The 49-32 Wizards have the franchise's most wins since the 1978-79 campaign (54), when the team went on to hoist the Larry O'Brien trophy.
