The league has come to a conclusion regarding LeBron James' controversial sixth foul in Sunday's contest against the Atlanta Hawks.

The NBA's last-two-minute report confirmed the Cavaliers forward was correctly whistled for a foul after pushing Paul Millsap while the two were attempting to retrieve a rebound. Cleveland went on to lose 126-125 with James forced to sit the final two minutes of overtime.

However, the report also indicated Millsap and Kent Bazemore were both out of bounds and should've been whistled for a turnover during a tie-up with Kyrie Irving in the final seconds of regulation. Instead, the Hawks went on to win the ensuing jump ball, and Millsap nailed a baseline fadeaway to force overtime.

James did not hold back his frustrations with the officiating following the contest, suggesting the referees played a part in Sunday's defeat.
