It's safe to assume this jersey - which has clearly seen better days - was in far better shape prior to LeBron James leaving the Cleveland Cavaliers in 2010. Then again, the Cavs didn't start wearing those particular uniforms until 2012.
Look, this guy was probably a plant placed in the stands at the Pepsi Center when the Denver Nuggets hosted the reigning NBA champions Wednesday. Otherwise, why would the team's game ops willingly show him on the big screen with his pro-James sign?
That's the only logical explanation here. Otherwise, he willingly pulled his Cavaliers jersey out of a fire, kept it, and elected to wear it in public to a basketball game.
