NBA officials are technically considered part of the floor, so if a player just so happens to trip over one, then tough luck.
Washington Wizards forward Bojan Bogdanovic learned that the hard way Monday at the TD Garden, falling over the feet of referee Nick Buchert prior to what would have otherwise wound up being an open 3-pointer in the corner.
It's safe to assume the Boston Celtics appreciated the perimeter defense from Buchert on this possession.
