Clippers' Griffin, Jordan won't play Thursday vs. Nuggets
Blake Griffin and DeAndre Jordan won't travel to Denver for Thursday's game against the Nuggets, Dan Woike of the Los Angeles Times reports.
Analysis:
Both Griffin and DeAndre Jordan are set to remain in Los Angeles, as the Clippers are looking to get a few of their veterans some extra rest down the stretch, especially on the second night of a back-to-back set. With both Griffin and Jordan out, we should get a bigger dose of both Marreese Speights and Brandon Bass in the frontcourt, as the Clippers don't necessarily have a bunch of big bodies to step in for their All-Stars. They could also go with a smaller three-guard lineup and shift a guy like Luc Mbah a Moute over to the power forward position.
