Lakers' Nick Young: To come off bench indefinitely

Coach Luke Walton said prior to Sunday's game against the 76ers that Young would be moved to the bench indefinitely, Mike Trudell of Lakers.com reports.

Analysis:

Young had already seen his playing time fall by the wayside since the All-Star break, averaging just 21.7 minutes per game over his previous seven outings. With Walton now committed more to getting his younger players some run at this stage of the season, Young figures to see his playing time slashed even more, if he doesn't fall out of the rotation entirely. Though Walton hasn't yet announced who would start in place of Young on Sunday, Davd Nwaba, Tyler Ennis and Jordan Clarkson should be the main beneficiaries of the veteran's move to the bench. Those still counting on Young for scoring and three-pointers in deeper leagues may want to consider dropping him.
