Nuggets' Nikola Jokic: Struggles on offensive end Thursday
Jokic provided only four points (2-7 FG, 0-2 3Pt) and added 10 rebounds and two assists over 26 minutes in Thursday's 116-100 loss to the Kings.
Analysis:
It was a highly disappointing performance overall for Jokic, who turned in his lowest scoring total since Dec. 23. The second-year big man put up his least amount of shots since that contest as well, and only salvaged the night for fantasy owners by posting his fourth straight double-digit rebound game. Given his stellar track record since joining the starting five on a permanent basis, Jokic's forgettable night can be safely chalked up as an outlier that he's likely to bounce back from Friday against the Nets. However, Mason Plumlee's presence still serves as a possible wild card in Jokic's equation, as it's expected to consistently result in at least a slight drop in the latter's playing time.
