76ers' Andrew Bogut: Sent to Philadelphia

Bogut, Justin Anderson and a first-round pick will be sent from Dallas to Philadelphia in exchange for Nerlens Noel, Adrian Wojnarowski of The Vertical reports.

Analysis:

The oft-injured Bogut has once again missed a bunch of time with the Mavericks this season, most recently sitting out six of the last seven games prior to the All-Star break because of a hamstring injury. For that reason, the Mavericks were looking to ship him out of Dallas and finally found a deal where they could throw in Bogut, and his expiring $11 million contract. Bogut is fully expected to be bought out by the Sixers, as they have no reason to keep him around with both Joel Embiid and Jahlil Okafor in the fold. Bogut should have a new home at some point later this week, so stay tuned for another update.
